Del Val Golf Club is the Philadelphia/New Jersey chapter of the Pro-Duffers Golf Club, USA. The purpose of the national organization is to promote and encourage a greater interest by its chapters, members and the public in the game of golf and related social, civic and charitable activities. Locally, Del Val contributes towards that purpose through several golf, social and charitable outings hosted throughout the year.

Del Val Golf Club was formed in 1954 by a group of Philadelphia area golfers. In the late fifties, Del Val members contacted several of their former Howard University classmates who lived in the Washington metropolitan area, and expressed an interest in engaging in some friendly golf matches, area against area.

Today that tradition continues in our annual grudge match against the Washington DC and Northern Virginia chapters at the Ocean City Challenge-By-The-Sea Tournament and new rivalries are formed with other chapters at Pro-Duffers USA's Annual Spring Fling and National Convention Tournaments.
